Join the Teaching with Primary Sources program at Mars Hill University to explore primary sources before, during and after the Civil Rights Act of 1964 in order to answer the essential question: How can I use primary sources to increase student understanding of the causes and effects surrounding this monumental time in American History?
This course contains materials for 2 presentations given on August 10, 2015 at the Moore County Summer Teacher Academy.
This is an open generic course for sharing materials tied to childrens literature, both fiction and non-fiction. These book backdrops were created by TPS-Mars Hill staff and teacher participants. There are also materials for creating your own and a means for sharing them.
